NO to military-backed regimes

To whom it may concern,
It is crucial to understand that there is no such thing as an army-backed democratic movement. Low human capital and a deficient politically conscious population are breeding grounds for military / quasi-military regimes. These regimes, which survive on these lows, are reluctant to improve the human capital and education of the people they rule. This alone is a compelling reason to oppose military regimes in all forms, not just in Bangladesh.
A military regime doesn’t necessarily need to openly declare martial law to operate and extract all the benefits. It can operate in a shell through civilian puppets or proxies on the outer layers and replace them at will. That was precisely what happened to the immediately overthrown formerly military-backed Hasina regime. A so-called student-military-people uprising is a silent military coup in disguise. Why? Because the title makes a clear distinction between the people, students, and the military.
