Hindu wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Formed in Rangpur

A committee for the Hindu wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has been established in Pirgachha, Rangpur. Assistant Professor Bhabesh Chandra Barman from Mirzapur Degree College has been appointed as president, while Bijon Chandra Das will serve as the general secretary.

This announcement was made by Sadar Union Jamaat Ameer Abdur Jabbar during a discussion and view exchange meeting about the Hindu community at the Upazila Jamaat office on Friday night.

Additionally, Tapas Chandra Roy, a Debi Choudhurani Degree College demonstrator, has been named assistant secretary. Sudharanjan Barman will serve as president of the Sanatan Sangha, and Provash Chandra Barman, an assistant teacher at Deuti School and College, will act as vice president.

Union Jamaat Organizing Secretary Hafez Idris Ali moderated the meeting. Special guests included Rangpur district Jamaat Secretary Maulana Enamul Haque, Rangpur Upazila Jamaat Ameer Maulana Mushtaq Ahmed, Secretary Mostafizur Rahman, Office Secretary Jakir Hossain, and Hindu-Bouddha-Christian Oikya Parishad President Bhabesh Chandra Barman, along with Union Jamaat Finance Secretary Hossain Ahmed.
