Six killed in mass shooting in Tel Aviv

At least six people have been killed in a mass shooting in Tel Aviv, Israel, late on Tuesday, with several people wounded, including at least three critically, local media report, citing police and emergency responders. Police have reportedly killed the two gunmen believed responsible for the attack.
The attack occurred in the Jaffa area in the city’s south. Israeli police have acknowledged the incident, stating that they have been treating it as a suspected terrorist attack.
Unverified footage suggests that the incident involved at least two attackers, who arrived at the scene by tram and opened fire on commuters immediately after disembarking. At least one of the attackers appeared to be wielding an M4-patterned assault rifle.
