Press Minister of the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington AZM Sazzad Hossain fired

The government has terminated the contract of the press minister of the UK mission in London and the US in Washington. The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification cancelling their contract on Thursday (August 29).

The two press ministers are Ashiqun Nabi Chowdhury, the Minister (Press) of the Bangladesh High Commission in London, and AZM Sazzad Hossain, the Minister (Press) of the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington.

The contracts of Bangladesh High Commission’s Press Minister Shaban Mahmud and Kolkata Mission Press Secretary Ranjan Sen were terminated earlier.
