Special security law for Sheikh Mujib’s family repealed
The law for special security of Sheikh Mujib’s family members has been repealed. President’s office on Monday promulgated the ‘Bangabandhu’s Family Members Security (Repeal) Ordinance, 2024’. Through this, the ‘Father of the Nation Family Members Security Act, 2009’ has been repealed. Earlier, the draft of the ordinance was given final approval at a meeting of the Advisory Council on August 29.
