Foreign Secretary Momen Gone Today

Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen will leave his position before his contract ends. The Ministry will bid him farewell today on Sunday, with the Foreign Adviser present.

Although his current contract was set to expire in December, there has yet to be an official announcement of his resignation or the cancellation of his contract.

Aaccording to sources, Masud Bin Momen retired in November 2022 but was appointed on a contractual basis for two years by the current government. During this role, he supported the government and took a strong stance against student and public movements.
