International Crimes Tribunal submits charges against 32 journalists

A Dhaka court has framed charges against 52 people, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in connection with the July genocide during the anti-discrimination student movement. Among them, 32 senior journalists have been charged with inciting the genocide. The case was filed by Golam Razzak, father of Rihan, who was killed on August 5 during the anti-discrimination student movement. The accused include several former ministers, law enforcers, and high-profile individuals. Additionally, 32 journalists have been charged in connection with the case. Earlier, the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) filed a separate case against 10 people, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on charges of genocide and crimes against humanity in relation to the quota reform movement.
