Shakib fined Tk 50 lakh for stock manipulation
Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has fined the national team cricketer Tk 50 lakh for manipulating the team. According to a report by a top national Daily Manab Zamin, the decision was taken at the 923rd commission meeting of the BSEC, which was held today.
Abul Khair Hiru was fined Tk 25 lakh, Ishal Communication Tk 75 lakh, Monarch Mart Tk 1 lakh, Abul Kalam Matbar Tk 10 lakh, Lava Electrode Industries Tk 1 lakh, and Jahed Kamal Tk 1 lakh. Together, they were fined Tk 1.63 crore, mainly due to the share manipulation of Paramount Insurance Company.
