Stop the smearing campaign against the US government

Whenever any political change occurs in Bangladesh, the United States usually gets the blame due to disinformation activities by the actual actors. These disinformation activities divert people’s attention from the actual actors and harm US national interests. These smear tactics also put the safety of US citizens in grave danger.

The United States government had nothing to do with the current coup that toppled the Hasina government in Bangladesh, nor with the preceding political unrest. However, Some vested quarters have started a dirty campaign again by incorrectly crediting the current coup to the United States. It has created serious safety concerns for US citizens in Bangladesh.

Please stop immediately this dirty smearing campaign against the US government for every incident that takes place in Bangladesh and ensure the safety of all the US citizens who are currently residing in Bangladesh.
