Farhad Mazhar Demands Release of Chinmoy Prabhu

Poet and political philosopher Farhad Mazhar has demanded the release of Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, the spokesperson of Bangladesh Sammilita Sanatani Jagran Jote and former principal of Pundarik Dham in Hathazari, Chattogram.
On Tuesday (November 26), he posted a long post on Facebook demanding the release of Chinmoy Prabhu.
“Immediately release Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, spokesperson of Bangladesh Sammilita Sanatani Jagran Jote and principal of Pundarik Dham, protect the civil and human rights of all people of Bangladesh irrespective of religion and ethnicity, including the followers of Sanatan Dharma, and stop suicidal communal politics.” Avoid hateful communal tagging like Hindu means Delhi agent, BJP agent, or Hindutva.
Above all, we must understand that the international geopolitical reality is not in favor of Bangladesh but against it. It cannot be dealt with with fat heads and conspiracy theories. Avoid foolishness. We must be careful about those who interpret politics with conspiracy theories and mislead people by spreading rumors. Clear and sharpen the antenna.
We have to implement the conditions created by the July 2024 revolution to rebuild Bangladesh. That is possible if we talk to each other and strengthen the mass political trend by building a national consensus. I want everyone’s sincere efforts. Let good sense be awakened in us. Let us be united to demand the release of Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari. We hope that the government will release him immediately.

1. After the July 2024 revolution, an interim advisory government was formed, with Sheikh Hasina vowing to protect the fascist constitution. On the one hand, the spirit of the mass upsurge, on the other hand, the so-called law and the Awami trap of constitutionalism—the old fascist Awami state—are actually established in the tension of both. We have got a very weak, ineffective government of the Gosai type of killing.

We are seeing that the people of Bangladesh are being instigated against the traditional religions by spreading various conspiracy theories, fake news, and rumors of lazy minds. The defeated fascist forces are using the poison of communalism against the people of Bangladesh as their primary strategy to thwart the July 2024 mass uprising.
3. Given this suicidal danger, we have to think about the safety of the people of Bangladesh. It is necessary to protect the weak interim advisory government on the one hand and, on the other hand, to make the people aware of the fascist forces and the fascist state system irrespective of religion and race to lead the mass upsurge towards complete victory.
4. But the anti-people and anti-Bangladesh clique sitting in the government and administration are hatching conspiracies one after another against the people of Bangladesh and the interim government. They are committing one sabotage after another against the people of Bangladesh. The latest evidence of this is that Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari was taken in a white microbus at the request of a policeman Takeaway. Who are these police? Who is more potent than the interim government or even more powerful than the Bangladesh Army?
5. On October 31, Firoz Khan of the Mohra area of Chandgaon filed a sedition case against 19 Hindu people, including Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, for insulting the national flag with Kotwali Police Station in Chittagong. It is to be mentioned that Firoz Khan is the general secretary of Mohra ward BNP in Chittagong city.
6. Friends, Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari resulted from the July uprising. The people’s revolution transforms our consciousness. To understand this, listen to his speech at the recent Rangpur rally. Notice how he paid tribute to the martyrs of the July Revolution and our heroes who were maimed with loss of limbs. He also asked his followers to come to the rally with the flag of Bangladesh tied on their heads. He unwaveringly praised and expressed gratitude for the role of the Bangladesh Army in holding the Rangpur rally peacefully. This clearly shows that the possibility of a qualitative transformation in the consciousness level of all of us, regardless of religion, is invaluable. Losing that priceless treasure means losing the foundation of building a new Bangladesh. Our task is to accelerate this transformation and sincerely understand the anger, protest, sorrow, and suffering of traditional religionists, as well as immediately include everyone in the larger society. We have to know that the conventional religionists are citizens of Bangladesh. Our first and foremost task is to establish the civil and human rights of all the people of Bangladesh, irrespective of religion and ethnicity. To do so, we all must listen to the anger, protest, pain, and pain of the traditional religionists with utmost sincerity. Solutions have to be found.
7. But in this case, a section of the police and administration, including the Awami Fascist clique, has become an obstacle in this regard. Those who are still in power are carrying out subversive activities in the old Awami administration, as well as trying to make Bangladesh extremely unstable by patronizing the extremist communal groups in Bangladesh. Their only aim is to intensify the old colonial communal hatred and hatred between Bengali-speaking Bengalis and Bangladeshis for the sake of Delhi so that under no circumstances can we build a new Bangladesh. We have to stand against the enemies who are spreading non-communal poison in Bangladesh and the subcontinent. Continuing to sow the seeds of communal hatred will be the cause of Bangladesh’s ruin. We have to be vigilant and vigilant. We must win the civil and human rights struggle with patience, tolerance, and peace.
