Russia strikes Kyiv with barrage of missiles and drones

Early on Monday, Russia launched a missile attack on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. Falling debris from the downed weapons injured at least two people and caused fires, as well as damage to homes and infrastructure, according to officials.

Ukraine’s military administration in the city reported that its air defense units successfully destroyed over 10 cruise missiles and nearly 10 ballistic missiles. This information was shared on the Telegram messaging app.
